This is my first time heading to the Eastern part of Indonesia and I am so excited. Got the invitation from Javara Survivor that got one more slot to fill with someone who willing to experience a life changing adventure with them. They say we will stay on a small island and mingle with the locals while helping them build a volley ball field and going to see the Komodo afterward.
The first stop after reaching Labuan Bajo was a hill where we can enjoy the sea view and the busy port activities and then we’re heading to Batu Cermin Cave. This cave is interesting as it is a proof that the island was not emerging until a few thousand years ago, we may find some sea creature fossils, small bays and funny looking spiders.
To get inside you need to wear a helmet to protect your head from the stalactite because of it’ll be hurt if you carelessly bump into a stalactite or any other thing hanging on the cave. Spent a little time on your itinerary in Labuan Bajo to visit this cave, even if it’s not as much magnificence as if you see massive caves in National Geographic but this cave held a brief history about the island.
to be continue.
